The Master Krause

I have been wanting to try out IllusoryThrall’s Master Simmer challenge for a long time. Since I decided to start the Achiemvent Insanity Project I figured, why not now? It’s a pretty interesting challenge with the goal to experience everything in the game. Since the project is about getting all the different achievements it seems like a great pairing.

The rules I will be following will be linked above, it is quite a challenging challenge. This will be its own household with its own things going on, so you do not need to read the entire Achievement Insanity Project to enjoy this. I am not going to push to get this challenge done in a certain number of generations, even though the challenge gives you a goal, as we have plenty of time with the legendary legacy also being a part of this. I also figure it’s challenging enough just on its own.

For this entire hood, each family will be played for two weeks each, ending the second Sunday at 4 AM to avoid having any family member’s “called home” from work when I switch houses. They will also be a single season for each round, so even though the challenge specifies that each season should be for one week, this will effectively be 2 weeks for each season instead. Outside of that, the only other change I might make is to the rule about creating your own sims for each generation. This rule is in place so that me, the player, is reaching all of these goals myself, and not just via some maxis sims’ random skills, which I agree too. However, since I will have 10 played families, if my sims pick a spouse from one of the other 10 families that were born and played by me, then I will let them marry in. To me, this stays within the spirit of the rule, and the reason for it to be in place (as I will have played them from the beginning and achieved all the achievements myself). If I don’t have a good candidate within the played families, however, I will create my own.

I believe those are the only changes I am making to the challenge rules, and any other specific rules regarding the neighborhood as a whole will be spelled out on the Achievement Insanity Project’s home page linked above. I hope you enjoy this family.
